Probably a dumb question, but what tools do you need for tonogodhime? I’m assuming drilling/fastening or
tying something is required to keep it from shifting.
For the stack itself: none. Tonogodhime is intentionally tool-free. It’s built entirely through log placement
(alternating layers). You don’t drill or fasten the stack.
You still need tools for inoculation obviously, but stacking is just hands and gravity. If you feel like you
need straps, it usually means the base isn’t flat or the stack is too tall.
