Best way to stack logs when space is tight?

I only have a small strip of shade along my garage. What's a good way to stack shiitake logs in limited space without building a whole shed worth of structure?

Tonogodhime is worth a look. It's a compact square footprint and it stands on its own. Alternating 2x2 layers make a little cabin stack, so you don't need wall support.

Seconding that. If you do a lean-to, you end up needing more length and you still can't reach the back. The freestanding square stack keeps the footprint predictable.

That sounds like exactly what I need. I thought it required a rack for some reason.
