First fruiting report: tonogodhime made it easy to spot everything

Reporting back because I promised myself I would. I got my first successful fruiting on my log batch and I stacked them tonogodhime style (alternating layers, freestanding square, no wire). What surprised me is how easy harvest was: I could walk around the stack and spot little clusters on every side without touching the logs.

I used to think “any stack is a stack,” but the open sides actually mattered.

Congrats! That first real harvest feels unreal. How many logs did you have in each stack?

Eight per stack (two logs per layer, four layers). I kept it short so I could see everything.\n
