Which stacking method uses the least ground space?

I’m trying to plan my log yard and I keep underestimating how much ground space different stacks take. For folks who’ve tried multiple methods, what’s the real footprint difference?

Tonogodhime stays pretty compact because it’s a square footprint: alternating layers instead of leaning outward. My lean-tos always ended up “wide” because the base has to splay a bit.

Tight crib stacking can be dense too, but it’s harder to keep it accessible. My crib footprint is small on paper, but then I need “working space” because I’m constantly pulling logs to check them.
